I love music! I spend most of my free time listening to anything wonderful- 7439 songs in the album and counting. I have been bestowed on a holy quest to educate myself in the great music from the past several hundred years to our own. Corny line alert: Music fills my soul in few ways other things in this world can.

Music is a beautiful connection between creativity and logical thinking. It expresses unspoken emotions which allow for cross-cultural communication. In addition to its creativity, music reinforces strategy and logical thinking while playing. My intent is for every student to discover themselves within their music and to connect with others on a deeper level without words.

Being a musician for most of my life, it has become an extension of the language in which I express my emotion to others. I want to teach others as well as constantly improving myself to aspire to be the best people we can be through the art of listening.

Music means a lot to me in many different ways. I mostly listen to music to get in a certain mood and get ideas on what I should paint/draw. It has helped boost my creativity and picture things from a new perspective. Without music, I would be painting for hours in a tranquil room, and that's boring. Music is definitely a big part of my life.
