Instructor/Tutor Application
Interested in becoming a tutor?
We are excited that you are interested in becoming an instructor for The Power of Music! This is a perfect way to help other students achieve their musical goals. (This is not a job so no payment will be given, however, volunteer hours will be granted.) In order to be an instructor, you must meet the following requirements:

Must have at least 3 years of experience in music (instrument, vocal, theory, etc.)
Must be committed to at least teaching 1 hour a week.
Must be over the age of 12.
Must speak English proficiently.
Must have access to an electronic device that can reach Zoom and have a stable internet connection.
Must be professional, timely, and efficient.

As an instructor/tutor, you will be providing music lessons (private or group) to students over the online Zoom platform. The Board of Directors will connect you with a student based on their level and availability. You will be expected to assess the needs of your student and create a plan to help accordingly. If you need anything to supplement your teaching as the classes pass, please let the Board know, and we will provide it for you. More details will be given to you after you are approved of being an instructor/tutor.
